Radhakrishnan, M.A., D.Com., was the visionary Founder and Former Managing Trustee of Sri Muthukumaran Educational Trust and Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital and Research Institute. With a distinguished background as a Senior Lecturer in Commerce for over three decades, he led with dedication, humility, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Under his leadership, the trust established a broad range of educational and medical institutions aimed at serving the rural and underprivileged sections of society. His lifelong commitment to spreading quality education and healthcare made a profound impact on countless students, educators, and patients. Today, his legacy continues to inspire the trust’s unwavering pursuit of excellence, service, and inclusivity in higher education and medical care.

Educated in both traditional values and contemporary institutional management, Thiru. Rakesh has seamlessly stepped into leadership, ensuring that the institutions under his guidance continue to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence, clinical care, and social responsibility. As Chairman of Sri Muthukumaran Medical College, he has been instrumental in strengthening the college’s infrastructure, expanding clinical departments, and reinforcing student-centered governance.
