Emergency Medicine
The Emergency Medicine Department at our institution functions as a vital component of one of the leading tertiary care hospitals in the region. The department operates 24×7, providing immediate and comprehensive emergency medical care to all patients presenting with life-threatening or urgent conditions.
Our Emergency Room (ER) is staffed by a team of experienced Emergency Physicians, skilled Medical Officers, trained Nursing Staff, and qualified Physician Assistants, ensuring continuous, round-the-clock coverage. The team is proficient in handling medical, surgical, cardiac, pediatric, obstetric, and trauma emergencies with evidence-based protocols and a patient-centered approach.
The MBBS & MD Anaesthesia students are guided by our faculty in accordance with University requirements.
To support rapid diagnostics, the department is backed by a busy and efficient laboratory providing prompt blood investigations around the clock. Comprehensive imaging facilities, including CT, MRI, X-ray, echocardiography, and Doppler, are available 24×7, facilitating accurate and timely diagnosis.
As a teaching and training department, the Emergency Room also provides structured exposure and hands-on training for Compulsory Rotatory Medical Interns (CRMIs) and postgraduate trainees as part of their regular casualty postings. This ensures that upcoming medical professionals develop essential skills in emergency care and acute patient management under expert supervision.
