Department of Surgical Oncology
The Department of Surgical Oncology is dedicated to the surgical management of solid malignancies, combining advanced surgical techniques with multidisciplinary cancer care. The department works in close coordination with Medical and Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and supportive care units to deliver evidence-based, tailored treatments for every patient. Our goal is to ensure precise tumor removal, optimal functional outcomes, and overall improvement in quality of life.
Inpatient and Outpatient Services
The department provides comprehensive consultancy and surgical services for patients with suspected or confirmed malignancies. Outpatient services include cancer screening, diagnostic evaluation, preoperative workup, and postoperative follow-up. Dedicated clinics are conducted for breast, head and neck, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, thoracic, and genitourinary malignancies.
Inpatient facilities include specialized oncology wards and intensive postoperative care units. The surgical team is supported by trained oncology nurses and pain management specialists to ensure holistic and compassionate care throughout the treatment journey.

Modified radical mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and oncoplastic breast reconstruction
Head and Neck Oncology
Wide excision of oral cavity cancer, neck dissections, parotidectomy, thyroidectomy, and reconstructive flap surgeries
Gastrointestinal Oncology
Resection of esophageal, gastric, colorectal, hepatic, and pancreatic malignancies, as well as cytoreductive surgery for peritoneal surface disease
