The Department of Respiratory Medicine was established in 2010 with a vision to deliver holistic care for patients with respiratory diseases. Since its inception, the department has grown into a leading centre for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide spectrum of pulmonary conditions. Our team of experienced pulmonologists and trained respiratory therapists are committed to clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and medical innovation. The department is also actively involved in academic training and research, contributing to advancements in respiratory medicine.

Outpatient Department (OPD) Services
The OPD functions Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing accessible and efficient respiratory care.
OPD Procedures and Clinics include:
- PEFR recording
- Pre and Post Bronchodilator PFT
- DLCO testing
- Specialty Clinics – Asthma, COPD, Pulmonary Rehabilitation & Smoking Cessation Clinic, ILD Clinic, Lung Cancer Clinic
- Six-Minute Walk Test
In-Patient and Critical Care Services
- Dedicated respiratory ward for in-patient admissions
- Five-bed ICU equipped with advanced ventilators, BiPAP machines, and High-Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO)
- Exclusive isolation rooms for infectious and immunocompromised cases
- Cross-referral and collaborative management with other specialties
