Objectives:

This program is designed to:

  • Acquaint the first year MBBS students with the career pathways and opportunities available upon completion of the MBBS program and guide them to fix their goal and be focused towards its achievement.
  • Provide an insight for the IIIyear Part I and Part II students on the various career opportunities available in India and abroad after completion of MBBS program.

Learning outcome:

Upon completion of career guidance programs, students will be able to comprehend the various career opportunities available on graduation and choose that suits their interest.

CAREER GUIDANCE –OPPORTUNITIES OVERSEAS AND IN INDIA

Exploring Overseas Opportunities:

Venturing abroad for further studies or practice has become an increasingly attractive option for MBBS/MD/MS graduates. Overseas universities and healthcare systems offer diverse specializations, cutting-edge research opportunities, and exposure to different medical practices. This career guidance program is tailored for international aspirations can provide students with crucial information about application processes, examination requirements (such as USMLE for the United States; Medical College Admission Test/ Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination for Canada), visa procedures, and cultural adaptation in various countries.

Tapping into Indian Prospects:

The Indian healthcare landscape presents a multitude of avenues for MBBS graduates. From pursuing postgraduate studies in esteemed institutions like AIIMS and PGIMER to entering specialized fields such as public health, medical research, or hospital administration, the opportunities are vast. This course serves as  cornerstone, by providing students with comprehensive understanding of the diverse pathways available within the field of medicine. By familiarizing themselves early on with various career trajectories, students gain clarity regarding their interests, strengths, and aspirations. They are exposed to a wide range of specialties, including but not limited to clinical practice, research, academia, public health, and healthcare management.

 

COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS TRAINING PROGRAM

Training program for Competitive exam for NEET PG

(Pre-clinical/ Para-clinical/ Clinical-Medical/ Clinical-Surgical subjects)

Objective:

This course intends to provide an indepth phase-wise training for the CRMI students on the strategies for the preparation and successful performance of the NEET PG entrance examinations.

Learning outcome:

Upon completion of this training program, the CRMI students will be well-prepared to give NEET PG entrance exams.
