Pharmacovigilance – Regularly monitoring and reporting the adverse drug reactions to Regional Centre (Kilpauk medical college).

Library: is a resource of various standards to recently updated Pharmacology Text books.

Animal house: We have well equipped animal house to conduct all types of animal studies and research.

Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology laboratory: Well organized lab to conduct research and to train Undergraduate students.

Museum: is an excellent source of various drug samples, animal models, sources of drugs and also gives an outline about the History of Medicine.

Research lab: With updated instruments and equipment’s to conduct research.

Prof. Dr. P. Durairajan M.D.

I Dr.P.Durairajan M.D (Department of Pharmacology) hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Ramachandra Medical College, Madras University, which I completed in 1993. Subsequently, I pursued my passion for pharmacology, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pharmacology from Ramachandra Medical College, Ramachandra University, in 2003. With a rich teaching background spanning 25 years in MBBS education and 11 years in postgraduate teaching, I have had the privilege of contributing extensively to the medical education landscape. Additionally, I have served as an external examiner for numerous universities, bringing a wealth of experience to evaluating medical professionals. Over the past decade, I have authored 18 publications, reflecting my commitment to advancing knowledge in pharmacology and medicine. My dedication to academia is further evidenced by my active participation in various committees, where I have had the opportunity to shape policies and initiatives within the field.”
