The Department of Paediatrics offers preventive, promotive, diagnostic and curative health services to all children upto 12 years of age. Regular growth monitoring at well baby clinic and routine growth monitoring of all children who attend outpatient services helps to identify growth faltering. Through immunization clinic which runs on all working days, we offer immunization for all vaccine preventable diseases.

The Department is run by highly experienced and well qualified professionals with 3 units and adequate beds to deliver effective health care to all children including paediatric emergencies. Through outreach programmes the Department offers school health services by periodic school visit and health check up to nearby schools. The Department is actively involved in educating the Undergraduate (MBBS) students through Lectures with Interactive sessions, group discussion based on the current CBME.

The Department has NICU with adequate infrastructure and PICU with equipments to manage sick children.
